Levaquin (levofloxacin) 500mg 2 days			Diverticulitis (inflammation/infection of small pouches that develop in weak spots in the intestines)	Itchy rash Widespread skin rash	Went to the ER and was given IV dose of levaquin. Given prescription for home and took first dose the next day and started itching like crazy ever since. Broke out in a rash on my chest, back and scalp so I stopped taking it. Levaquin (levofloxacin) 500MG 7 days			Bladder infection Kidney stones	Fast fluttery heartbeat Irregular heartbeat - atrial fibrillation	After taking this drug 7 days 500 MG for a bladder infection. I became very tired which wasn't getting better. Within the next 3 weeks it got worse. Levaquin (levofloxacin) 500 7 days			Sinusitis (infection/inflammation of the sinuses)	Generalized itching Mouth ulcers	This is the 3 time I have been on this antibiotic and I get the worst mouth sores I have ever had in my life. I also get very itchy even in my mouth, and I just never realized it was in conjunction with this med. I do not have herpes, but I have had the ulcer off and on all of my life. Levaquin (levofloxacin)			Pneumonia (lung infection - may cause shortness of breath; fever; chest pain; cough; etc)		My 89 year old mother was put in hospital over a week ago for pneumonia and put on Levaquin. Two days later she began exhibiting psychotic behaviors including paranoid delusions. It took a week for the doctors to realize what was happening. Given the number of people receiving this medication at any one time, 0.1 to 0.9% isn't a small number of people. Needless to say I'm not happy.			06/04

Levaquin (levofloxacin) 750 mg 7 days			Wheezing	Mouth discomfort Mouth sores Body pain Change in taste sensation	As an RN, I suppose I should have expected these side effects, but knowing facts and having experiences are not the same. I suppose I'll have more empathy for patients who are complaining of these effects, and maybe that will make this experience worthwhile. Levaquin (levofloxacin) 500 mg 5 days			Bacterial infections	Mouth discomfort Mouth sores Agranulocytosis	I had no idea why I had these sores in my mouth untill I looked up the side effects of this drug. Now it all makes sense. The bacterial symtoms have disappeared, for which I am grateful but the mouth sores are horrible. I am not going to take another dose of this medication.	51	Female	04/14
