I take this drug at 100 mg. 3 times per day. I have had none of the side effects listed by many other users. It has been a "miracle" drug for me in that it has stopped the pain and neuralgia associated with my movement disorder. I do have a fair amount of sleepiness, but this is most likely caused by several of the other drugs I take as a part of my overall treatment plan. 61 Male 2009-11-19 21:04:05.093

I just started the gabapentin a few days ago. I'm pretty impressed so far after just a few days. I can feel some relief from the pain. It gives me a "high", "wired" feeling but it doesn't bother me enough to stop taking it. I have tried soooooo many different types of drugs trying to find relief. My fingers are crossed so far so good. 41 Female 2009-10-22 02:30:45.0

After having taken Cymbalta for a few years, I have swollen nodes ( one axillary (left), 1 supraclavicular (left), and 1 mandibular (right) that have lasted at least a few months with no other symptoms. I am being evaluated for this and mild leukopenia. Mammogram showed no changes in breast to indicate breast cancer. I have not had even a cold or any evidence of viral or bacterial infections in more than a year so no sign of reduced immunity. 57 Female 2009-08-29 10:51:59.467

Adderall is known to cause muscle tension and rigidity, and may be making your condition worse. Does your doctor know you are taking both Vicodin and Oxy-Contin? If so, I might consider a different doctor. Both of those narcotics are generally not very effective for muscle inflammation or even muscle pain. Use for a prolonged period often actually CAUSES pain and soreness. I personally experienced that. Ask your doctor about a muscle relaxant like cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) or if that makes you too drowsy, something like Skelaxin or Robaxin. Please note contraindication between cyclobenzaprine and Adderall. R
