Painful menstruation
 I just had a period a week ago and now I have cramps and bleeding again. My cramps last time lasted a whole week, Not normal!! I think this is due to taking oral contraceptives w/ the lamictal. But my baby is 3 months and do not want to risk getting pregnant 30 Female 08/22

 I took the depo-provera shot instead of the pill after my baby was born and it doesn't lower the effectiveness and I don't get my period anymore (you're not supposed to, maybe spotting). You only have to get it every 3 months, and my OB-GYN said that all the hype about losing bone density is more of a concern for young women. Anyway, try to find a doctor that will give you the shot if possible, so the pill doesn't effect your lamotrigine levels. From the research I have read, it does...I can't recall if it increases plasma levels or decreases...check it out or ask your dr. R

 Ears swelling until you can't see the folds anymore. This just started on day 5 at 50mg.
