Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (rapid heart beat that starts and stops abruptly - heartbeat originates from an abnormal location in the heart rather than in the heart's normal pacemaker)
was diagnosed with SVT in Oct 08. Started on metroprolol. Had a lot of side effects including reaction to cold trouble breathing. That settled down and went off drugs. Started again in Sept 09 due to SVT reoccuring and severe anxiety. Six weeks later I have sore swollen bottom lip and tongue. Painful bladder cramps at night and slight fever.
