Bystolic (nebivolol) 5mg 3 months
Panic attacks (sudden, time-limited experience of extreme anxiety that may cause racing/pounding heart; light-headedness; nausea; sweating; trouble catching breath; hyperventilation/rapid breathing; numbness/tingling; sensation of doom; trembling/shaking; people having panic attacks can feel as though they are dying, going insane or, having a heart attack)
High blood pressure
 Other than the high blood pressure, I did noit have these symptoms until I started taking the Bystolic. My doctors say my dose is so low
that it can't be effecting me. But obviously it is. 		55 Female 11/20

Irregular pulse
 I started taking the metoprolol 8 days ago after an irregular heartbeat landed me in the hospital. My heart is pounding really fast, and I feel like I am dying. I am not going to take my dose tonight. 48 Female 11/08

 In addition to severe abdominal pain and on two occasions, swelling of my upper lip, I also experienced, on a regular basis, extreme swelling of the labia. All these were experienced over the course of 3.5 years. 35 Female 11/06

Significant decrease in blood pressure
Severe lack of energy/fatigue
 I have elevated levels of norepinephrine (4x) blood and urine but after all scans (including MIBG) they can't find the pheo. My BP sytolic is on the rise and can't seem to be controlled. I get faint when getting up or standing for a while. The muscles on the back of my neck really burn and I can't hold my head up. Generally very fatiqued all the time. Do you think I am allergic to metoprolol? Is the SOB and nasal congestion related to dibenzymine or flurocortisol? 60 Female 11/06

hydrochlorothiazide-metoprolol 100 6 weeks
Anxiety (fear or dread out of proportion to situation - often with restlessness, tension, pounding/rapid heartbeats, or rapid breathing)
Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (rapid heart beat that starts and stops abruptly - heartbeat originates from an abnormal location in the heart rather than in the heart's normal pacemaker)
 was diagnosed with SVT in Oct 08. Started on metroprolol. Had a lot of side effects including reaction to cold trouble breathing. That settled down and went off drugs. Started again in Sept 09 due to SVT reoccuring and severe anxiety. Six weeks later I have sore swollen bottom lip and tongue. Painful bladder cramps at night and slight fever. Have been told by doctor to go off drugs - what is alternative? 44 Female 11/05
