doxycycline 25mg 3 weeks
Acne
After taking the drug for two weeks I have developed a rash on my chest and neck in the form of flat or slightly raised red bumps that don't really itch. They look terrible though, and now I'm not only embarrassed about acne on my face, but the rash of red patches all over my chest. 28 Female 07/22

Yaz (drospirenone-ethinyl estradiol) 1 days
Cystic acne (severe form of acne with cysts/larger than pimples, that can flare-up and scar)
I took my first dose at 3pm. A few hours ago I started coughing (dry), heavy breathing, some asthma and then a sharp pain in my right breast. Never experience this - only when I had bronchitis about a year ago. So I thought I would google Yaz and the cough and saw it listed.. Really werid because I took bc before without this problem. I took a puff of an inhaler and feeling better but too scared to go to sleep until I know this episode is over. 33 Female 07/13

minocycline 100mg 7 days
Acne
I experienced joint pain after a few days of taking this medicine. At this point I do not know if it is a result of the medicine but after consulting the pharmacist doctor I was instructed to stop taking it. Also after 1 week of use I got a yeast infection. Within the first week immediately following each dose (1 pill 2x/day) I experienced dizziness and light-headedness which went away within about an hour. At this point this pill is not worth it in my opinion. 28 Female 06/28

Claravis (isotretinoin) 40mg 3 months
Acne
Taking Claravis (isotretinoin) for Acne. Same as Accutane. Experiencing side effects: dry lips, mild nose bleed, patches of dry skin, dry scalp/flaking. Nothing severe, just annoying. Heard about Accutane recall and its risks associated with IBD, Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, etc. Not sure how significant risk it is. Never had any history of intestinal or bowel related problems in my life. Should I be worried about this?? 27 Male 05/13

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol-norgestimate) 4 months
Acne
Had very severe panic attack a couple days before I was supposed to get my period. Had been on it on and off for about 3-4 months, with some a missed week in between the 3rd and 4th month. OUt of the blue had a panic attack over fear that I could die. Extreme sweating, hyperventilating, tunnel vision, light headedness followed. Crying and anxiety that I would get another panic attack followed for the next couple days. Slightly getting better each day. though started taking Xanax for anxiety relief because the anxiety was too great. Gynecologists dismissed the idea that it was due to Ortho-Tri Cyclen Lo, but I don't konw what else it could be. 24 Female 05/04
