Effexor XR (venlafaxine) 150 1 days
Intestine problems
Muscle twitching
Body pain
Involuntary eye movements
Headache
I am just now finding out all the side effects to this drug. I am slowly coming off of Effexor. I tried to come off Effexor by supplementing a different drug Savela but the rapid eye movement became worse. I have lost several days of work. Over the past few years I have spent so much money trying to find out what is wrong with me. I had no sexual libido (inability to achieve an orgasm), muscle spasms, pain in every part of my body, sever fatigue, migraines. I have taken so much medications to counter the symptoms I was just going around and around in a circle. I truly hope that I am on the road to recovery. I have been given several dosages to slowly taper off of Effexor. Once off I hope and pray this circle I am on will end.

Ear infection
I have been prescribed amox. multiple times for sinus infections and have rarely had any side effects if any unlike other antibiotics. It is very important that you take this medicine for the full length of the prescription other wise your infection will come back and you have to start allover. 24 Female 11/17

Bone pain
Muscle twitching
Coordination problems ("ataxia")
SSRI Withdrawal Syndrome (occurs when certain antidepressants are stopped too quickly - may include: nausea, dizziness, tremors, sweating, diarrhea, anxiety, agitation, headaches, numbness or tingling)
I have been off this drug for 23 months and still have not healed withdrawal is long and horrid I have lost everything I owned my health all but my life and if I do live and it now looks like I will there is not much left to live for thanks for nothing fda.
There is no place on this form to put in tolerance where you enter withdrawal because the drug is no longer working that is what happend to me and no doctor could figure it out so I sufferred for years till I broke. There is not enough information given to doctors and the small bit they do have does not get to the patient. That is wrecking peoples live and needs to change.

Mucinex D Max Strength (guaifenesin-pseudoephedrine) 1 tablet 1 days
Headache located above the eyes
I never take medications other than aspirin or Tylenol. I had symptoms that seemed like allergies so I took one single tablet of Mucinex D. I took no caffeine or any other substance. The Mucinex kept me completely awake all night (I slept only about three hours). My allergy symptoms decreased, but I felt worse due to the lack of sleep. 35 Male 10/30

Advil (ibuprofen) 2 liquige l advil 1 days
Headache
sligh "bump" in the same place on my lip everytime I take advil. I like it because it eliminates my headache like no other pain killer. I don't take it that often. I took heavy doses of it years ago for a bad (I mean bad) tooth pain and I started to see kaleidescope figures in my eyes and went to the hospital. Ever since then I've had slight lip swelling (very minor but a noticeable bump) when I take it but no other side effects. Here is my email if you think I need to stop taking it -- guillidj@slu.edu Thanks! 51 Male 10/22

I just started the gabapentin a few days ago. I'm pretty impressed so far after just a few days. I can feel some relief from the pain. It gives me a "high", "wired" feeling but it doesn't bother me enough to stop taking it. I have tried soooooo many different types of drugs trying to find relief. My fingers are crossed so far so good. 41 Female 10/22

Sinus infection
My doctor instructed me to stop taking this drug when I began to experience a tight feeling in the center of my chest, which worsens when I eat or exert myself. I've also been coughing a lot and this tightness seems to trigger my cough reflex. The symptoms have continued since stopping the medication. 32 Female 10/12

Deplin (l-methylfolate) 1/2
Throbbing headache
Hi
I have been taking Deplin for the last 6 weeks or so. I was feeling like it was the answer for me too. I quit my Lexapro about 3 months ago and was having crying spells. So my psychiatrist put me on the 7.5 Deplin. I am sensitive to all meds so I started myself on 1/2 of the 7.5. After about 4 weeks I started getting heart racing, and my head throbbing. It has been constant with no relief. I am weaning myself off and am down to 1/8 of a pill a day because I haven't found any information on how to wean off of it. Also, I have been prescribed iron for anemia and I found that I wasn't supposed to have been prescribed Deplin in the first place. Wish I knew if I could just quit without bad withdrawal symptoms. Not seeing the Psychiatrist that originally prescribed them....
